NASA’s Bennu mission uncovered a surprise nobody saw coming
NASA’s OSIRIS-REx mission set out to grab a small scoop of rock from asteroid Bennu and bring it home. Instead, it delivered a chemically rich, physically bizarre time capsule that is forcing scientists to rethink how planets form and how life’s ingredients first came together.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman took charge of the U.S. civilian space agency on Dec. 18. At his first news conference, he announced that SpaceX Crew-11 was leaving the International Space Station five weeks early due to an undisclosed astronaut medical issue.
This is also a significant launch for the country as well, as the Artemis II will be the first space journey near the moon since the 1970s.
